Carolina García

Colombia-born Carolina Garcia, known as “Caro” to all, is an international relations and nonprofit professional with over a decade of experience in advocacy, community engagement, and programming for organizations like The Women’s Fund Miami, Oxfam America, and the Clinton Global Initiative. Her experience developing cooperation agreements between scientists in the Global South and their peers around the world directly informs her role as the Community Engagement & Communications Lead at C4R, where she engages the public and the scientific community to help make rigor sexy (her words!). Caro holds a master’s degree in international relations from Harvard University and recently finished a certification program in project management. She can often be seen riding her beloved vintage fire-red bicycle through the streets of Philadelphia.
